Now let's talk a little about Oregano Essential Oil.

Click HERE for an excerpt from The Dr. Oz Show where Dr. Oz talks about why we should all have Oregano essential oil in our medicine cabinet, not in our kitchen.  All because of the benefits and uses of the anti-bacterial properties of oil of Oregano.

Oregano is often called the nature's antibiotic. Dr. Jean Valnet spent much of his life studying, practicing, lecturing, and writing on the benefits of aromatherapy and the properties of essential oils.  He described it as one of the strongest known anti-inflammatory drugs in reversing pain and inflammation with nearly the power of morphine as a painkiller.

This is certainly an oil to have during the cold and flu season.  It can be used to help fight respiratory problems like colds, flu, sore throat, asthma, and bronchitis.  It can also be used to help relieve congestion, loosen phlegm, and bring a halt to coughs.  It is also a great choice for stimulating the lymphatic system and for fighting fungal infections (such as athlete's foot).

Some of the ways that you can use Oregano:
  • Diffuse it in the air for antibacterial and antiseptic benefits.
  • Take one drop daily to boost immunity when seasonal threats are high.
  • Rub Oregano essential oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil on the bottom of your feet to help boost your immune system.
  • Put one drop in place of dried oregano in spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, or on a roast.
  • Put 10 drops in a 16-ounce spray bottle with water for a surface spray.
  • Mix one to two drops with water and gargle to soothe an irritated throat.
